Set up in 2001, The Cryptology Research Society of India, is a scientific assembly made up of academics, researchers, specialists, students and institutions who are interested in promoting the science and technology of Cryptology and Data Security and related theory and applications in India.

The Cryptology Research Society of India has been founded for:

·         Supporting and promoting research activities in cryptology and security in India.

·         To arrange lectures, discussions, workshops, seminars, conferences etc. for motivating and guiding the young Indian researchers in the field of cryptology and security.

·         Organizing the annual events INDOCRYPT – The prestigious International conference on cryptology and security in India and National Workshop on Cryptology.

SITE school from VIT University has recently conducted “National workshop on Cryptology -2012”, where renowned researchers across the country shared their works on cryptology. 

Cryptology is an ever growing field involving mathematics and computational skills. All the students interested in this field may be a member in this society and keep in touch with research happening in this field.  Students can register their membership for a nominal fee of 100 /- .
