If you did not format your flash drive, then check whether the files are not in
hidden mode. Follow the following steps:
1. Download Autorun Eater( Here's the link ) .
2. To temporary remove Autorun.inf :
a: Open run..Type cmd
b: type the drive path letter where you're flash drive/external drive is present. For eg: Your pen drive is in D:, then type D: in cmd and press enter.
c: Type attrib -h -r -s d:\autorun.inf --> Press Enter (Remember to replace the bold d with the drive path).
del d:\autorun.inf ---> Press Enter
3. To remove the shortcuts type attrib -h -r -s /s /d d:\*.*
It might show you some folders with access denied..let the process complete..After a little while you'll see the folders with same name being recovered..Delete all the shortcuts and remove the folders with name 'a2b2' and Recycler.
4. Remove the flash drive and re-insert. Do scan the drive with malware and antivirus..if you don't have an antivirus, here's a link ( Get Avast! )
