Gears of War: Judgement hands-on review
No one expected another instalment of Gears of War series as it wrapped up its main plot last year with the release of Gears of War 3, which ended the tale of protagonist Marcus Fenix and his war against the Locusts. However Epic Games decided to juice out a little bit more money out of the franchise.
Gears of War : Judgement takes a step back, telling the tale of series veteran Damon Baird and Kilo squad during Emergence. For those unfamiliar with the Gears of War world, Emergence Day was the day that the war started and the evil subterranean Locusts invaded.

Thus, the game’s plot is set during humanity's peak when it was the dominant species on fictional planet Sera.
This instalment is visually quite different from the previous two instalments containing huge cities and military bases rather than ruined cities and desolate countryside.
The gameplay is identical to previous versions as third person run and gun, killing everything in your way . Gears of War: Judgement features all the same Deathmatch and King of the Hill multiplayer modes as previous Gears of War games, with the added boon of its new Overrun mode. Gears of War: Judgement is set for release on 19 March. So get ready to grab it at the latest from your nearest store or order it online for all new experiences fighting on Sera.
